I founded Family Memories to help families use the Internet to preserve family history, maintain strong family ties, and improve communications between family members who live far apart.
The Internet is a wonderful tool for decreasing distance. Families are able to almost replicate the way life was generations ago when most family members lived within easy visiting distance.
Children born today will be blogging and exchanging digital photos before they reach their 10th birthday. Why not give them a place to do it that they can share with other family members? It’s an opportunity for today’s senior generation to create a family web presence that will greatly benefit future generations.
If you are concerned about privacy you can make your family web presence accessible only to family members.
